Getting Started

Sign in, complete the Mission Briefing, and unlock your first module.

What Mission Control is

Mission Control is an operations cockpit for teams using Claude. One place to see your monthly spend, the cache-hit rate you should be getting, the recipes that actually save money, and the modules that act on all three.

You don't need to install anything to use the cockpit. You do need an account — pricing tiers gate the deeper modules. See Upgrade in the navbar.

The first three minutes

  1. Sign in. Use any provider supported by the parent platform — Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn. Your account is created on first sign-in; no separate registration step.
  2. Complete the Mission Briefing. Three questions: which surface you mostly work on (Chat / API / Code), what's most expensive for you right now, and how experienced you are with Claude. This drives the default open bay and pins suggested modules on the cockpit.
  3. Open the cockpit. Your tier badge lives in the top-right of the navbar. The big BudgetRing in the centre shows your monthly spend against your tier's budget. The activity feed below it surfaces recent runs across every module you've used.

What you get on the free tier (Recon)

  • Cockpit access — telemetry, activity feed, command palette.
  • Cheat sheet — every concept the rest of the product references, deep-linked to the module that acts on it.
  • Public REST API surface (read-only on your own data with a Bearer token from Settings → API Keys).

Recon is permanent and free. The paid tiers (Operator, Commander, Fleet) unlock the modules that do something with the cockpit data — running audits, generating cache recommendations, dispatching alerts, etc.

Where to look next

  • Account & Billing — managing your tier, topup, and invoices.
  • Features — what each module does and when to use it.
  • CLI — connecting the turntwo mc CLI to your account.
  • Troubleshooting — common issues and their fixes.
