Account & Billing

Tiers, topup, invoices, and managing your subscription.

Updated 2026-05-19

Tiers at a glance

Tier Monthly Annual What it unlocks
Recon Free Free Cockpit, cheat sheet, public REST API on your own data
Operator $9 $89 Chat + API bay modules, alerts, email dispatch
Commander $19 $189 + Code bay modules, CLI device flow, Slack/Discord alerts, monthly PDF report
Fleet $79 $649 + multi-seat (5 operators), API rate-limit bumps

Founder-tier pricing exists for the first cohort — see the Upgrade page if you signed up before the founder caps fill.

How to subscribe

  1. Visit /mission-control/upgrade.
  2. Pick the tier + billing cadence (monthly or annual).
  3. Stripe Checkout opens in a new tab. You'll be back on the upgrade page after success.
  4. The cockpit refreshes with your new tier badge within ~5 seconds (or hit a hard refresh).

Topup ($5 once per period, Operator+)

If you exhaust your monthly AI budget, the in-app banner offers a $5 topup that credits +$5 of AI budget for the current period. Once per period, no auto-renew. Once paid, the cockpit reflects the new ceiling within 5 seconds.

The topup is intentionally small. If you need significantly more headroom, the right move is a tier upgrade, not topup-stacking.

Invoices and receipts

Every subscription invoice + topup payment is emailed by Stripe to the address on your account. There's no "Billing history" page yet inside Mission Control; the Stripe receipts are the source of truth.

To change the billing email, update it on the parent platform's profile (the address Mission Control uses is the address on your Clerk account).

Cancelling

Cancel from /mission-control/settings → Subscription → Cancel. Cancellation is end-of-period — you keep access through the day you'd otherwise renew, then drop back to Recon. No partial refunds; if you cancel on day 3 of a month, you have 27 days of access remaining.

Annual subscriptions cancel at the end of the year you paid for, not the next month.
