Privacy policy — Workbench extension
Last updated: 2026-06-11
The TurnTwo Workbench browser extension is a side panel that runs the Workbench tools (token counting, cost estimates, prompt audits, and similar). This policy explains exactly what it does and does not do with your data.
What it sends
When you click a tool in the panel, the text you put in the panel's input box is sent over HTTPS to TurnTwo's public tools API at turntwo.dev/api/mcp so the tool can compute a result, which is shown back to you. Nothing is sent until you click a tool. The extension only ever transmits the text you yourself enter.
What it does NOT do
- It does not read the contents of the pages you visit.
- It does not store, log, or retain your input after returning the result.
- It does not use cookies, analytics, trackers, or advertising.
- It does not require an account, sign-in, or API key.
- It does not sell or share any data with third parties.
Permissions
The extension requests only two permissions: sidePanel (to show its panel) and host access to turntwo.dev(to call the tools API). It requests no access to other sites, your browsing history, your tabs' contents, or your files.
